Taiwan recorded the first win in Shenzhen. They crushed Malaysia for 1-1 record in Group A. Taiwan secured a 43-16 halftime lead and cruised to the victory in the second half. Chen-Shan Pan (172-PG-2007) scored 19 points, while Yu Tsz Lee (178-F-2006) added 13 points for Taiwan. Ler Low (165-G-2006) answered with 15 points for Malaysia.

South Korea - Australia 52-85
Australia improved at 2-0 record atop of Group as they beat South Korea. Australia secured a 47-26 halftime advantage. They went on a 27-10 run in the third term to clear off for good. Lara Somfai (192-C-2007) tallied 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Bonnie Deas (175-G-2006) added 19 points for Australia. Yunha Song (180-C-2006) answered with 13 points for South Korea.

Indonesia - Japan 29-80
Japan breezed past Indonesia for the second straight win in Group B. Japan dominated from start to finish. They limited Indonesia to just 11 points in the second half to seal the win. Kanon Suzuki (174-SF-2006) came off the bench for 21 points. Nathania Sasongko (200-C-2006) led Indonesia with 9 points.

New Zealand - China 68-90
China celebrated the second win in a row in Shenzhen. The hosts jumped off to a 27-15 lead after ten minutes. They followed with a 28-16 run in the third quarter to ice the win. Ziyu Zhang (220-C-2007) notched 36 points and 13 rebounds for the home team. Kavanah Lene (175-G-2006) responded with 13 points for New Zealand.
