Australia - China 81-55

Australia claim their first ever title at the U18 Asian Championship Division A. They overcame China 81-55 in the Final game ending China's run as five-time consecutive champions in the competition. Australia, China, Japan, and Chinese Taipei are qualified for the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup 2023 which will be played in Madrid, Spain. Australia opened the game with a 22-14 run and also scored 22 points in the second period. They managed to win the third and the last stanzas for the final success.
Isla Juffermans (191-C-2005) stepped up with 26 points and 15 rebounds, whilst Dallas Loughridge (167-PG-2004) added 17. Nyadiew Puoch (189-C-2004) delivered 14, whilst Sophie Burrows (184-F/C-2004) scored 11. Wang Jing (177-SG-2005) answered with 16 points in the losing effort.
