Indonesia - Japan 35-107
Japan trounced Indonesia to gain the second victory in Group B. It was a one-way traffic from start to finish. Japan accumulated a 58-8 halftime lead. They followed with a 28-8 run in the fourth term to seal the win. Six players scored in double digits for Japan. Misaki Sasaka (173-SF-2004) led the effort with 17 points. Vanissa Stregar replied with 9 points for Indonesia.

New Zealand - Australia 44-111
Australia fired past New Zealand to stay perfect in Bengaluru. Australia sank 60 points in the first half to open a comfortable 60-24 halftime lead. Australia did not slow down in the second half. They poured in 50 points to ease to the victory. Isobel Borlase (180-G-2004) posted 16 points, while Sophie Burrows (184-F/C-2004) contributed 14 points for the winners. Florence Dallow (186-F/C-2004) answered with 10 points for New Zealand.

Taiwan - China 74-61
Taiwan held off China to gain the first win in India. Chine looked to dominate this one as they jumped off to a 25-10 lead after ten minutes. But Taiwan used a 46-19 run in the next two periods to spur ahead for good. Chang Yu-Lan (171-G-2005) finished with 18 points, while Yu Chin-Hua (182-F-2004) added 15 points and 11 rebounds for Taiwan. Li Wenxia (181-F-2004) answered with 21 points and 10 rebounds for China.

India - South Korea 47-69
South Korea beat India to improve at 2-0 record in Group A. South Korea set the tone in the first half. They recorded a 30-15 halftime lead. The Korean side extended the margin at 24-point mark heading into the fourth quarter and raced to the win. Kim Sol (174-G/F-2005) had 15 points, while Ko Seoyeon (172-G-2004) delivered 14 points for the winning side. Yashneet Kaur (185-C-2004) posted 13 points for India.
