Philippines - Samoa 66-59

Sumayah Sugapong paced Philippines past Samoa at the U18 Women Asian Championship. She nailed 28 points as her team won 66-59. Philippines won the first period 21-9 and led 13 points at the halftime. Samoa managed to win both periods in the second half to reduce to final 7 points. Kristan Yumul (175-G/F-2005) delivered 16 points for the winners and Louna Ozar (172-SF-2004) as well as Kate Bobadilla (170-G-2004) nailed 8 each. Kira-May Filemu (178-F-2006) answered with 19 points in the losing effort.
