Australia held off their archrivals New Zealand to ensure the semifinal berth in Bengaluru. Six players scored in double digits for the winners. Isobel Anstey (191-C-01), Isabel Palmer (178-F-01) and Miela Goodchild (178-G-00) netted 13 points each for the winning team. Australia ensured a 41:25 halftime lead and never looked back en route to the win. Ella Bradley (182-F/C-01) tossed in 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for New Zealand.
China - Taiwan 80-53
China drubbed Taiwan to secure their semifinal appearance. Li Yuan (170-PG-00) came up with 20 points, 11 assists and 9 rebounds to lead the winners. China grabbed a 46:24 halftime lead. They went on a 22:16 run in the fourth term to ice the victory. Li Yuyan (185-G-01) finished with 16 points for China. Chen Yu-Chieh (180-C-02) replied with 16 points for Taiwan.

Iran - Kazakhstan 56-71
Inna Kulikova (168-SG-00) posted 26 points to lead Kazakhstan past Iran in Division B qualifying round. Kazakhstan recorded a 36:22 halftime lead. They followed with a 14:10 run in the third term to clear off for good. Mariya Zaitseva (190-C-00) tossed in 16 points and collected 20 rebounds for the Kazakh team. Sahar Goodarzi (164-G-02) answered with 11 points for Iran.
Hong Kong - Singapore 67-37
Hong Kong cruised past Singapore to advance into Division B semifinal stage. Hong Kong dominated from start to finish. They established a 29:15 halftime lead. They ignited a 21:7 run in the third term to run away for good. Wing-Nga Poon stepped up with 18 points for Hong Kong. Lee Briana (170-G-00) replied with 10 points for Singapore.
