Group A-A
Taiwan - Indonesia 99-54
Taiwan opened win count in Group A. They stormed past Indonesia to secure the playoffs berth. Chen Yu-Chieh (180-C-02) posted 13 points and 8 rebounds to lead the winners. Taiwan got to a quick start. They grabbed a 52:20 halftime advantage. They did not loosen the grasp in the second half to cruise to the victory. Chen Chih Ying (173-G-02) and Hung Hsuan Chia (169-PG-00) added 12 points apiece for the winners. Leonita Suwanto and Tricia Aoijs replied with 15 points each for Indonesia.

Australia - South Korea 62-63
South Korea recorded the third straight win in Bengaluru. They eked out a narrow win over Australia to advance into the semifinal stage. Lee Sohee (168-F-00) posted 21 points, 7 assists and 6 steals to lead the Korean side. South Korea built a 27:18 halftime lead. Australia sank 23 points in the fourth period but could not avoid the loss. Park Jihyun (180-F-00) had 18 points in the victory. Isobel Anstey (191-C-01) replied with 19 points and 15 rebounds for Australia.

Group A-B
New Zealand - Malaysia 99-32
New Zealand stormed past Malaysia to gain the first win in Bengaluru. Charlotte Whittaker (187-F-00) posted 18 points and 7 rebounds to pace the Junior Tall Ferns. New Zealand grabbed a 55:19 halftime lead and cruised to the victory in the second half. Tayla Dalton (174-G-01) finished with 15 points for New Zealand. Weng-Yen Chan replied with 10 points for Malaysia.

China - Japan 79-94
Japan clinched the semifinal berth as they rolled past China to finish first in Group B. Norika Konno (177-F/G-00) tallied 19 points for the winners. China registered a 45:41 halftime lead. But Japan ignited a 29:16 run in the third term to spur ahead. Japan went on a 24:18 rally in the final frame to ice the victory. Layla Takehara (183-F/C-00) had 16 points in the win. Mingling Chen (192-G/F-00) and Li Yuan (170-PG-00) replied with 16 points for China.

Group B-A
India - Singapore 79-49
India edged Singapore to improve at 3-0 record in Division B Group A. Gulabsha Ali (165-PG-00) delivered 21 points to pace the winning team. India posted a 20:3 lead after the first term. They followed with a 41:24 run in the second half to coast to the win. Harshitha Bopaiah (00) had 15 points and 12 rebounds in the victory. Wong Shuting (165-G-00) answered with 12 points for Singapore.

Guam - Iran 55-98
Iran drubbed Guam to gain 2-1 record in Division B Group A. Iran trailed by one point at the first break but went on a 29:8 run in the second term to secure a 20-point lead. Iran dropped 51 points in the second half to coast to the victory. Fatemeh Ghazvini (171-G-01) delivered 28 points for Iran. Mia San Nicolas replied with 21 points and 11 rebounds for Guam.

Group B-B
Samoa - Syria 37-44
Syria punched Division B semifinal ticket as they raced past Samoa for the third straight win. Samoa enjoyed a 12:7 lead after the first quarter. But Syria responded with a 32:12 run in the next two quarters to surge ahead. Samoa tried hard in the fourth frame but Syria hung on to eke out win. Anna Aslanian (188-C-01) delivered 19 points and 11 rebounds for Syria. Jana Taufua (02) and Tasiaelasilelagi Stowers (165-G-02) replied with 10 points each for Samoa.

Hong Kong - Kazakhstan 80-73
Hong Kong held off Kazakhstan to improve at 2-1 record in Group B of Division B. Ho Pui Ying (172-SF-02) notched 22 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Kazakhstan accumulated a 40:33 halftime lead. Hong Kong drained 29 points in the third frame to surge ahead. They protected the advantage throughout the final period and rallied to the win. Poon Wing Nga (166-F-01) had 19 points and 8 steals in the victory. Inna Kulikova (168-SG-00) answered with 21 points for Kazakhstan.
