China - Taiwan 93-48
China topped Taiwan to stay undefeated at the tournament. Li Yuan (170-PG-00) tossed in 20 points and collected 16 rebounds for the winners. China built a 48:25 halftime lead. They sank 45 points in the second half and marched to the fifth straight win. Cao Yijia (183-F-99) delivered 13 points for the winners. Peng Hsiao-Tong (168-G-98) responded with 18 points for Taiwan.

India - Japan 26-93
Japan celebrated the third win in Bangkok. They stormed past India to reach the semifinal stage. Kiho Myashita stepped up with 25 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Japan accumulated a 44:15 halftime lead. They maintained the pressure throughout the second half and cruised to the win. Rumi Sako (170-SG-98) delivered 13 points in the victory. Bhandavya Hemmige (163-F-98) responded with 8 points for India.

South Korea - Thailand 70-57
South Korea claimed the fourth victory at the championship. They rallied past Thailand to finish the group stage at the second position. Na Yunjeong (173-F-98) scored 18 points to pace the winners. South Korea built a 41:28 halftime lead. The Korean side extended the margin at 22-point mark heading into the fourth quarter and never looked back en route to the win. Lee Juyeon (168-PG-98) netted 15 points in the victory. Yada Sriharaksa (178-C-01) responded with 16 points for Thailand.

Group B
Indonesia - Malaysia 74-54
Indonesia posted the fifth consecutive victory at Level II action. They topped Malaysia in the battle of two previously unbeaten teams. Jovita Elizabeth (174-PF-98) tallied 24 points to lead the charge. Indonesia produced 22:8 lead ten minutes into the game. They went on a 37:27 run in the second half to seal the victory. Christine Tjundawan (166-SF-98) had 13 points and 8 boards in the win. Ky Lie Hiew (178-C-98) responded with 16 points and 16 rebounds for Malaysia.

Singapore - Hong Kong 36-70
Hong Kong beat Singapore to claim the third victory in Bangkok. Lai Nga Man (173-PF-99) tossed in 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the effort. Hong Kong established a 39:18 halftime lead. Hong Kong held their opponents to just 18 points in the second half and rolled to the win. Wong Nga Man (166-SG-99) had 14 points in the victory. Tan LI (169-F-99) responded with 8 points for Singapore.

Kazakhstan - Sri Lanka 92-53
Kazakhstan breezed past Sri Lanka for the second win at the championship. Karina Olenberg (179-F-98) tallied 18 points and 13 rebounds to pace the Kazakh team. Kazakhstan accumulated a 41:24 halftime advantage. They erupted for 51 points in the second half to ease to the victory. Madina Baibolekova (175-G-99) delivered 16 points, 7 steals, 6 assists and 5 rebounds in the win. Nirma Samarasinghe (177-C-98) responded with 16 points and 7 rebounds for Sri Lanka.
