Group A
Japan - South Korea 64-70
South Korea registered the second win at the tournament. They edged Japan for 2-1 record. Park Jihyun (180-F-00) tallied 19 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. South Korea grabbed a 41:31 halftime lead. Japan pulled within 3 points at the final intermission. But South Korea went on a 17:14 run in the final stanza and rolled to the win. Kim Min Jung (178-C-99) chipped in 16 points for the winners. Mai Yamamoto (162-PG-99) responded with 15 points for Japan.

Thailand - China 58-86
China coasted past Thailand for the third consecutive victory in Bangkok. Wang Jiaqi (170-G-99) produced 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. China dominated from start to finish. They piled up a 48:25 halftime lead. The hosts slowed their opponents down in the second half but could not recover. Li Yuan (170-PG-00) had 17 points and 14 caroms for the winning side. Rattiyakorn Udomsuk (174-G/F-99) answered with 15 points for Thailand.

Taiwan - India 80-46
Taiwan recorded the first victory at the championship. They stormed past India for 1-2 record in Level I. Chen Meng-Hsin (164-SF-99) scored 17 points to pace the winners. Taiwan established a 41:13 halftime lead. India cut the deficit in the third term. However Taiwan unloaded 27 points in the fourth quarter and cruised to the win. Kao Yu-Lin (161-G-99) and Wang Jing-Ting (180-C-98) had 14 points each for the winners. Bhandavya Hemmige (163-F-98) responded with 10 points for India.

Group B
Singapore - Sri Lanka 50-40
Singapore outgunned Sri Lanka to open win count at the championship. Ng Tiana (168-99) accounted for 15 points and 9 boards in the win. Singapore accounted for a 22:17 halftime lead. They extended the margin at 11-point mark at the final intermission and marched to the win. Alfian Nabilah (166-F-98) tossed in 12 points for the winners. Sri Lanka answered with 19 points and 17 rebounds from Nirma Samarasinghe (177-C-98).

Malaysia - Hong Kong 65-40
Malaysia overcame Hong Kong to improve at 3-0 record at Level II. Ching Yee Ho (160-G-98) produced 13 points for the winners. Malaysia established a 35:19 halftime lead. They stretched the gap at 31-point mark at the final intermission and never looked back en route to the win. Kar Syuen Khoo (163-G-98) had 12 points and 8 boards in the victory. Lau Sheung Hok (162-SG-99) answered with 11 points for Hong Kong.

Kazakhstan - Indonesia 46-65
Indonesia fired past Kazakhstan for the third straight win in Level II. Lea Wolobubo (178-C-99) tallied 19 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Indonesia surged ahead for a 33:16 halftime lead. They protected the lead well throughout the second half and rolled to the win. Jovita Elizabeth (174-PF-98) produced 14 points in the victory. Luiza Zakova (175-G-98) responded with 10 points for Kazakhstan.
