South Korea - Taiwan 70-38
South Korea opened win count in Thailand. They fired past Taiwan behind 17 points and 18 rebounds from Park Jisu (195-C-98). South Korea accounted for a 33:22 halftime lead. South Korea held Taiwan to just 16 points in the second half and raced to the victory. Lee Juyeon (168-PG-98) delivered 13 points for the winners. Wu Chia-Hua (182-C-98) answered with 10 points for Taiwan.

Japan - Thailand 93-54
Japan recorded the second consecutive victory at the start of the tournament. They toppled hosting Thailand in Bangkok. Kadysha Umezawa (183-F/C-98) nailed 16 points to pace the winning side. Japan accounted for a 51:27 halftime lead. Japan kept the hosts at bay throughout the second half and cruised to the win. Mai Yamamoto (162-PG-99) and Miwa Kuribayashi (187-C-98) tossed in 14 points each in the victory. Rattiyakorn Udomsuk (174-G/F-99) responded with 17 points for Thailand.

China - India 114-38
China posted the second straight win at the championship. They stormed past India to stay undefeated. Tan Shuangyan (177-F-98) scored 18 points and grabbed 8 rebounds to lead the winners. China built a 55:23 halftime lead. They ssank 59 points in the second half and never looked back en route to the win. Yuan Li accounted for 17 points in the victory. Bhandavya Hemmige (163-F-98) responded with 12 points for India.

Group B
Malaysia - Singapore 64-33
Malaysia rolled past Singapore for 2-0 record in Level II. Suet Ying Foo (174-G/F-00) delivered 12 points to pace the winners. Malaysia accumulated a 35:16 halftime lead. Malaysia did not loosen the grasp in the second half and cruised to the win. Pei Jie Tan (167-SG-98) had 11 points in the victory. Yi Jayne (157-99) responded with 14 points for Singapore.

Sri Lanka - Indonesia 47-73
Indonesia posted the second straight win in Bangkok as they overcame Sri Lanka. Jovita Elizabeth (174-PF-98) produced 18 points to lead the charge. Indonesia accounted for a 41:23 halftime advantage. Indonesia maintained the lead throughout the second half and cruised to the win. Christine Tjundawan (166-SF-98) produced 15 points for the winners. Shereen Preena (157-F-98) responded with 14 points for Sri Lanka.

Hong Kong - Kazakhstan 72-65
Hong Kong registered the second victory at the tournament. They toppled Kazakhstan as Lui Shuk Yi (171-SF-98) notched 14 points. Kazakhstan recorded a 40:37 halftime lead. Hong Kong went on a 25:13 run in the third term to surge ahead. Kazakhstan slowed their opponents down in the fourth frame but could not avoid the defeat. Cheng Cheuk Kwan (170-SF-99) tossed in 12 points for the winners. Luiza Zakova (175-G-98) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds for Kazakhstan.
