Group APhilippines - Hong Kong 79-40The Philippines began their campaign with a dominant 79-40 victory over Hong Kong. The Philippines controlled the game from start to finish, winning all four quarters. Ava Fajardo (163-G-2007) led the scoring for the Philippines with 17 points, supported by Alyssia Palma (185-F-2008)'s 10 points and 5 rebounds. Ryan Nair (170-PG-2007) contributed 12 points and 5 rebounds. Of note, Demicah Arnaldo (155-PG-2008) made an impact on the game despite not scoring, recording 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Hong Kong's Kam Tsz (165-SG-2007) posted 14 points and 4 rebounds, while Mak Wan Ki (175-PF-2007) added 2 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists. However, their efforts were not enough to challenge the Philippines' dominance. Jordan - Maldives 94-32 Jordan opened their campaign with a comfortable 94-32 victory over the Maldives. For Malaysia, Ke Lee (163-PG-2007) led the scoring with 20 points and 7 rebounds, while Xin Oh (169-SF-2007) added 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists.
