Thailand - Taiwan 28-117
Taiwan showcased their dominance with a commanding 117-28 victory over Thailand in a one-sided affair. Taiwan dominated all four quarters, outscoring Thailand at every stage of the game. Chen Zih Chen (161-G-2007)'s double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds, along with Pan Chen Shan (172-PG-2007)'s all-around performance of 16 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 7 steals, played a pivotal role in Taiwan's triumph. Wu Hsin Ying (163-SF-2007) contributed 13 points and 5 assists. On the other hand, Apichaya Khamkaew (177-C-2007)'s 7 points and 7 rebounds were the lone bright spot for Thailand. Thailand struggled with turnovers, committing a staggering 57 in the game.

South Korea - Syria 91-58
South Korea kicked off their campaign with an impressive 91-58 victory over Syria. South Korea dominated the game from start to finish, winning all four quarters. Hwang Hyeonjeong (173-C-2007) led the scoring for South Korea with 21 points, while Lee Gahyun (180-F-2007) contributed 18 points and 7 rebounds. Hwang Yoonseo (183-F-2007) recorded a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds. Despite Aya Almohammad (167-G-2007)'s 25 points and 8 rebounds for Syria, their efforts were not enough to mount a comeback. Zeina Backour (165-G-2010) added 13 points and 4 rebounds for Syria in a losing effort.
Group B
Japan - Samoa 106-28
Japan began their journey with a dominant 106-28 victory over Samoa. Japan asserted their dominance in all four quarters, outscoring Samoa comprehensively. AN Kanazawa (171-SG-2007) led the scoring for Japan with 24 points, supported by Yuna Abe (175-F-2007)'s 9 points and 7 rebounds, and Sara Yamada (160-PG-2007)'s 12 points and 6 assists. Samoa's L'Oreal Hiko (177-F-2007) recorded 11 points and 8 rebounds in a valiant effort. Japan showcased their team play, amassing 29 assists, while Samoa struggled with only 6 assists and committed 51 turnovers compared to Japan's 9.
