South Korea - Australia 79-96
Australia finished preliminary round undefeated. They stormed past South Korea to earn the fourth straight win. Australia grabbed a 47-34 halftime lead. They added 49 points in the second half and rallied to the victory. Saffron Shiels (187-C-2006) posted 20 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists, while Isla Juffermans (191-C-2005) added 18 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Hyeonju Ko replied with 19 points for South Korea.

India - New Zealand 45-94
New Zealand wrapped up their preliminary round campaign on a high note. They fired past India to earn the second win. Maia Jones (179-SG-2005) posted 15 points to lead the winners. New Zealand grabbed a 40-19 halftime lead. They unloaded 54 points in the second half and marched to the win. Ashlyn Rean (182-F/C-2005) had 14 points for New Zealand. Deepthi Raja (161-PG-2005) answered with 9 points for India.
