Indonesia - Syria 74-75
Syria nipped Indonesia for the second win in Group A. Indonesia dominated in the first period. They opened a 24-13 lead after ten minutes. Syria turned things around in the second term. They used a 24-14 run to narrow the gap. Indonesia spurred in front in the third term but not for long. Syria poured in 22 points in the fourth quarter and snatched a narrow win at the end. Simel Alahmar (173-F-2005) notched 23 points and 12 rebounds for Syria. Aya Almohammad (167-G-2007) added 21 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals for the winners. Vanissa Siregar (170-G-2005) answered with 20 points for Indonesia.

Samoa - Philippines 65-94
Philippines fired past Samoa to finish undefeated atop of Group A. Philippines led from start to finish. They accounted for a 49-34 halftime lead. They dropped 45 points in the second half and marched to the win. Kristan Yumul (175-G/F-2005) posted 22 points, while Naomi Panganiban (163-PG-2006) had 14 points in the victory. Kira-May Filemu (178-F-2006) notched 28 points, 27 rebounds and 7 assists for Samoa.

Kazakhstan - Iran 56-46
Kazakhstan beat Iran to finish second in Group B. Kazakhstan opened a 29-24 halftime lead. They went on a 17-7 rally in the fourth quarter to seal the win. Anna Kochura (171-PG-2005) posted 16 points, while Anastassiya Knaub (190-C-2005) added 13 points and 16 boards for the winners. Farnaz Khodamoradi (178-PF-2005) answered with 12 points and 12 rebounds for Iran.

Jordan - Lebanon 56-60
Lebanon toppled Jordan to improve at 2-1 atop of Group B. The teams traded baskets throughout the first half. The scoreboard read 26-26 after twenty minutes of action. Jordan held Lebanon to 11 points in the third term to surge ahead. But Lebanon responded with a 23-16 run in the fourth period to snatch the win. Eliza Khoury (176-F-2005) finished with 16 points for Lebanon. Tia Sahlieh (170-SF-2005) had 15 points in the loss.
