India - South Korea 40-101
South Korea stormed past India to open win count in Amman. Yang Inye (170-PG-2005) came up with 24 points to lead the charge. South Korea earned a 49-19 halftime lead and never looked back en route to the victory. Jeong Hyun (180-F-2006) delivered 16 points for the winners. Manmeet Kaur (185-F-2005) replied with 15 points and 15 rebounds for India.

Japan - Australia 65-73
Australia outgunned Japan to stay perfect in Amman. Australia jumped off to a strong start. They piled up a 41-22 halftime lead. Japan poured in 25 points in the fourth stanza but could not avoid the loss. Isla Juffermans (191-C-2005) tossed in 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, while Rubi Gray (175-G/F-2005) added 13 points for Australia. Yuina Fukatsu (179-F-2006) produced 13 points and 9 rebounds for Japan.
