Samoa - Indonesia 57-48
Samoa claimed the first win in Group A. They beat Indonesia for 1-1 record. Samoa recorded a 28-19 halftime lead. They followed with a 17-10 run in the third quarter to clear off for good. Kira-May Filemu tallied 24 points and 14 boards for Samoa. Erinindita Madafa answered with 13 points and 9 rebounds for Indonesia.

Philippines - Syria 92-86
Philippines outgunned Syria for the second straight victory in Amman. They dominated in the first half. Philippines accumulated a 47-31 halftime lead. Syria unloaded 55 points in the second half but could not avoid the loss. Kristan Yumul posted 33 points, while Gabriela Ramos added 21 points and 14 rebounds in the win. Suzan Backour responded with 28 points and 13 rebounds for Syria.

Jordan - Kazakhstan 56-77
Kazakhstan defeated Jordan to improve at 1-1 record in Group B. Kazakhstan established a 44-25 halftime lead. They went on a 20-9 run in the fourth period to seal the win. Anastassiya Knaub tallied 24 points and 27 rebounds in the victory. Tia Sahlieh replied with 16 points for Jordan.

Lebanon - Iran 50-51
Iran nipped Lebanon to stay perfect in Amman. Iran eked out a 29-25 halftime lead. They held Lebanon to just 9 points in the third term to open a 9-point lead at the final break. Lebanon went on a 16-8 run in the fourth quarter but stopped just short of win at the end. Shamim Nouri tossed in 15 points for Iran. Nour Labban (G-2005) answered with 13 points for Lebanon.
