Thailand lost their final game at the 2011 SEA Games but it still allowed them to claim the Gold of the tournament. Wine Wine delivered 22 points to pace Myanmar as they improved at 2-2 record and clinched the fourth position. Juthamas Jantakan (174-G-85) erupted for 28 points in the loss.

Thailand lost their final game at the 2011 SEA Games but it still allowed them to claim the Gold of the tournament. Wine Wine delivered 22 points to pace Myanmar as they improved at 2-2 record and clinched the fourth position. Juthamas Jantakan (174-G-85) erupted for 28 points in the loss. Myanmar started the game aggressively and led by two points at the first break 15:13. Thailand however erased the deficit in the second quarter. They grabbed a 29:26 halftime lead. Myanmar turned things around in the third quarter. They unloaded 30 points to ensure a 15-point lead with one quarter remaining. The Thai team went on a desperate rescue rally scoring 29 points in the final frame but it did not help. Myanmar hung on to escape with a narrow win at the end. Ms. Susie had 21 points, while May Yee notched 13 points in the win. Naruemol Banmoo (185-C-87) responded with 12 points for Thailand.

Philippines recorded the second straight win at the start of 2011 SEA Games in Jakarta. They silenced Myanmar to stay perfect. Merenciana Arayi (85) nailed 13 points to pace the winners.
Philippines grabbed an 18:10 lead after ten minutes of action. Myanmar stopped the rot in the second term. They limited Philippines to just 8 points in the quarter and got within 3 points at the interval 23:26. But the third term turned decisive for Philippines

They limited Philippines to just 8 points in the quarter and got within 3 points at the interval 23:26. But the third term turned decisive for Philippines. They hold Myanmar to just 6 points in the period and cleared off to a 14-point advantage with ten minutes to go. Myanmar never recovered suffering the second loss at the tournament. Analyn Almajan notched 11 points and 11 rebounds in the win. May Yee responded with 10 points for Myanmar. Wine Wine had 9 points in the loss.
