Important game to mention about took place in Nur-Sultan. Saudi ArabianAl Ittihad saved a 3-point victory on the road edging Kazakhstan Astana 79-76 in the game for the third place. American point guard Keron DeShields (190-1992, college: Tennessee St., agency: Diamond Sports) notched a double-double by scoring 24 points, 8 rebounds and 12 assists to lead the effort and center Mohammed AlMarwani (206-1989) supported him with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Al Ittihad's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by guard Vadim Chsherbak (194-1993) did not help to save the game for Astana . Russian center Andrey Desiatnikov (220-1994, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 14 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the hosts. Four Astana players scored in double figures.
