Third-rankedCatfish (7-4) made lots of trouble for top-ranked Buffaloes (11-0) in Hanoi on Sunday. Buffaloes managed to secure only two-point victory 96-94 . However their fans expected easier game. Buffaloes outrebounded Catfish 52-33 including a 20-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Buffaloes looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American swingman Tamyrik Fields (198-1996, college: Augusta, agency: Interperformances) fired a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds for the winners. The other American import forward Hassan Thomas (203-1996, college: Emporia St., agency: Interperformances) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Buffaloes players scored in double figures. American forward Malek Green (201-1999, college: YSU) produced a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 5 assists and Canadian guard Albert Opena (190-2001, college: Algonquin) added 22 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Buffaloes have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-0 record. Catfish at the other side dropped to the fourth place with four games lost.
