Undefeated leaderBuffaloes delivered the eleventh consecutive victory. This time they crushed 5th ranked Dragons (6-6) 92-71 in Hanoi. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dragons. Buffaloes forced 22 Dragons turnovers and outrebounded them 48-33 including 34 on the defensive glass. Buffaloes players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Tamyrik Fields (198-1996, college: Augusta, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Hassan Thomas (203-1996, college: Emporia St., agency: Interperformances) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Karachi Edo (196-1994, college: Fresno St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks and Timothy Simmons (195-1992, college: DBU) added 12 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals in the effort for Dragons. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Buffaloes (11-0) have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 11 victories in a row. Dragons at the other side keep the fifth place with six games lost.
