VBA top team -Buffaloes (7-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Islanders (0-6) 94-73 . Buffaloes players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. American swingman Tamyrik Fields (198-1996, college: Augusta, agency: Interperformances) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) for the winners and his fellow American import forward Hassan Thomas (203-1996, college: Emporia St.) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Buffaloes' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. French center Alioune Tew (204-1992, college: Niagara, agency: HB-Spain) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and Filipino Algin Andaya (-1997) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four Islanders players scored in double figures. Buffaloes have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 7-0 record. Islanders at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost.
