The game in Danang was also quite interesting.Buffaloes played at the court of Dragons . Buffaloes defeated Dragons 132-121 on Monday. Buffaloes forced 23 Dragons turnovers. American point guard Taishaun Johnson (183-1994, college: PVAMU) notched 49 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and the other American import forward Hassan Thomas (203-1996, college: Emporia St.) supported him with 37 points (!!!) and 23 rebounds. Johnson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even a double-double of 30 points and 15 rebounds by American forward Karachi Edo (196-1994, college: Fresno St.) did not help to save the game for Dragons . Chinbold Ganbat (-2003) added 27 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Four Buffaloes and five Dragons players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
