Regular Season Round 8: TGE - Hitech 63-79

Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Bangkok:Hitech (#1) and TGE (#4). TGE was smashed at home by 16 points 63-79 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of TGE. Hitech players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by international center Emmanuel Ejesu (203-2004) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and international point guard Frederick Lish (175-1988, college: USA) supported him with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four Hitech players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 31 points and 10 rebounds by American forward Bobby Arthur-Williams (201-1997, college: Pitt St., agency: Starting 5) did not help to save the game for TGE . Mali forward Ibrahim Diaby (197-2001) added 7 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hitech (8-0) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 8 victories in a row, which they share with Shoot it Dragons. TGE at the other side dropped to the third place with three games lost. They share the position with Crypto Cobra.
