Regular Season Round 6: Banvas - Hitech 70-73

The most exciting game of round 6 in the BTL took place in Bangkok. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 6th rankedBanvas (2-4) to top-ranked Hitech (6-0) 73-70 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The best player for the winners was international point guard Frederick Lish (175-1988, college: USA) who scored 23 points and 7 rebounds. American center Kierell Green (203-1997, college: Edinboro) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Marcus Hammond (191-2000, college: Notre Dame) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and Canadian-Jamaican swingman Kareem Jackson (195-1988) added 16 points and 15 rebounds respectively. Four Banvas players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Hitech have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record, which they share with Shoot it Dragons. Banvas lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with four games lost. They share the position with Pythons and Air Force.
