Regular Season Round 7: Sharks - Red Dragons 92-91

The most exciting game of round 7 in the TEBA took place in Bangkok. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 3rd placedRed Dragons (4-3) to second ranked Sharks (5-2) 92-91 in the game for the second place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Red Dragons. Sharks looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Emmanuel Ejesu (203-2004) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds. The former international guard Takamin Sirijariyaporn (181-1997) contributed with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Sharks players scored in double figures. American forward Anthony Vanhook (193, college: Charlotte) answered with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 19 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and the other American import forward Lincoln Smith (196, college: Lamar) added 22 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Red Dragons. Red Dragons' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion maintains second place with 5-2 record having just two points less than leader Coyotes. Red Dragons at the other side keep the third position with three games lost.
