Regular Season Round 5: Raptors - Sharks 79-97

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in . Second ranked Sharks faced 4th placed Raptors. Guests from Bangkok (4-1) defeated host Raptors (1-4) 97-79. Sharks forced 22 Raptors turnovers and outrebounded them 52-41 including 17 on the offensive glass. Sharks looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Kendrick Williams (182) who had a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 14 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals. Forward Jalen Cooper (198, college: CS Fullerton) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Marius Hopkins (190, college: S.Suburban JC) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Ajay Sharma (183-1999, college: Vaughn) added 21 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sharks have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with 4-1 record behind leader Coyotes. Newly promoted Raptors keep the fourth position with four games lost. Sharks' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Bangkok to the arena Coyotes.
