Regular Season Round 28: Lioneers - Kings 98-78

There was no surprise when 5th rankedKings (19-17) were crushed by third ranked Lioneers (22-14) 98-78 on Wednesday. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian center Marin Maric (211-1994, college: DePaul, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 31 points and 18 rebounds and guard Po-Yu Tseng (186-1996) who added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Tseng is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side the former international guard Joseph Lin (186-1992, college: Hamilton) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 assists and American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (213-1990, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lioneers have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Dreamers. Defending champion Kings keep the fifth position with 17 games lost.
