TPBL top team -Leopards (23-12) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat seventh ranked Aquas (9-26) in Taoyuan 99-85 . Taiwan Beer L. outrebounded Kaohsiung A. 55-42 including a 41-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Taiwan Beer L. looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was Mali power forward Cheick Diallo (206-1996, college: Kansas) who had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 18 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field). American forward Malcolm Miller (201-1993, college: Holy Cross) chipped in a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds. Leopards' coach Henrik Roedl used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Hunter Maldonado (201-1999, college: Wyoming, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists and Lithuanian Edgaras Zelionis (207-1989) added 33 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds respectively. Taiwan Beer L. maintains first place with 23-12 record. Kaohsiung A. lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 26 lost games.
