The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-rankedPilots (16-2) against third ranked Braves on Saturday night. Pilots were rolled over by third ranked Braves (9-12) 114-95 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Pilots. They outrebounded Pilots 57-37 including 19 on the offensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Fubon Braves made 9 blocks. It was a good game for American guard Archie Goodwin (196-1994, college: Kentucky) who led his team to a victory with 38 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Chih-Chieh Lin (192-1982) contributed with 21 points for the winners. American center Alec Brown (216-1992, college: Green Bay) answered with 18 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import guard Treveon Graham (198-1993, college: VCU) added 15 points in the effort for Pilots. Four Pilots players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fubon Braves maintains third place with 9-12 record having four points less than leader Pilots. Pilots at the other side still keep top position with two games lost.
