Fourth-rankedPower (5-20) was very close to win a game against third ranked Taiyuan Textile (10-15) on Friday. Taiyuan Textile managed to secure only one-point victory 82-81 . However their fans expected easier game. Taiyuan T. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Ajae Petty (190-2002, college: Ohio St.) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 6 rebounds. Center Wei-Qing Liao (180) contributed with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Taiyuan Textile's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. point guard Rui-Zhen Song (160) answered with 32 points and 5 rebounds and guard Ying-Jie Li (163-2001) added 18 points and 4 assists in the effort for Taipower. Taiyuan T. maintains third place with 10-15 record having thirteen points less than leader Cathay Life. Taipower lost twelfth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 20 games lost.
