SBL round 11 caused change at the leadership position. Eighth defeat of league's leaderBank of Taiwan (17-8) against fourth ranked Taiwan Beer (10-15) 90-80 was the most important game of the last round. Taiwan Beer outrebounded Bank of Taiwan 42-28 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. 29 personal fouls committed by Bank of Taiwan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Gerard Tarin (205-1996, college: Nova SE) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 19 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Chieh-Min Lu (184-1995) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Tarin is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Chia-Wei Chien (183-1998) answered with 16 points and the former international Chieh-Yu Han (194-1999) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Bank of Taiwan. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taiwan Beer maintains fourth place with 10-15 record. Bank of Taiwan at the other side dropped to the second position with eight games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Yulon Luxgen.
