Very predictable result when first ranked Leopards (21-10) defeated 6th ranked Mars (10-21) 107-96 on Sunday. Taiwan Beer L. dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Mars's 44. Taiwan Beer L. forced 21 Taipei TM turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-1991, college: UConn, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) who scored 26 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Malcolm Miller (201-1993, college: Holy Cross) chipped in 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Kenyan-South Sudanese power forward Makur Maker (212-2000, college: Howard) who recorded a double-double by scoring 29 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and Senegalese center Youssou Ndoye (213-1991, college: St.Bonaventure) added 12 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Four Taiwan Beer L. and five Taipei TM players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Taiwan Beer L. maintains first position with 21-10 record. Loser Mars keeps the sixth place with 21 games lost. Taiwan Beer L. will meet Lioneers (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Taipei TM will play against Kaohsiung A. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
