Very expected game when 7th rankedAquas (9-22) were crushed by first ranked Leopards (21-10) 105-74 on Saturday. Strangely Kaohsiung A. outrebounded Taiwan Beer L. 53-40 including a 23-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. Taiwan Beer L. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Taiwan Beer L. made 9 blocks. The best player for the winners was American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-1991, college: UConn, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) who scored 21 points and 6 assists. Mali power forward Cheick Diallo (206-1996, college: Kansas) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds. Five Leopards players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Lithuanian Edgaras Zelionis (207-1989) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and the former international Wen-Ju Su (187-1997) added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Taiwan Beer L. maintains first position with 21-10 record.
