A very close game was the one betweenKeelung BK and Taiwan Beer . Third ranked Keelung BK (11-11) got a very close victory over one of their biggest challengers Taiwan Beer (8-14). Keelung BK managed to escape with a 2-point win 70-68 in the fight for the third place. American center Wendell Lewis (204-1989, college: Alabama St.) had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Yi-Hsiang Chou (191) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American forward Gerard Tarin (205-1996, college: Nova SE) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and guard Chun-Sheng Wang (181-2003) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Taiwan Beer's coach Meng-Chu Liu tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Keelung BK maintains third position with 11-11 record having seven points less than leader Bank of Taiwan. Loser Taiwan Beer keeps the fourth place with 14 games lost.
