The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th rankedChanghua 's (5-18) loss to fourth ranked Taiwan Beer (8-14) 69-73 on Friday. Taiwan Beer made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. American forward Gerard Tarin (205-1996, college: Nova SE) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Chieh-Min Lu (184-1995) chipped in 12 points during the contest. Tarin is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Taiwan Beer's coach Meng-Chu Liu used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American-Filipino forward Nicholas Evans (210-1988, college: S.Indiana, agency: Interperformances) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Wei-Hsiang Chang (190-1996) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four Changhua players scored in double figures. Taiwan Beer maintains fourth position with 8-14 record. Changhua lost tenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 18 games lost.
