The game in Taipei was also quite interesting. Fourth rankedKings (16-14) played at the court of 6th ranked Mars (10-20). Kings defeated Mars 116-102 on Sunday. Kings looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Joseph Lin (186-1992, college: Hamilton) who led the winners and scored 23 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (213-1990, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) accounted for 22 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Kenyan-South Sudanese power forward Makur Maker (212-2000, college: Howard) came up with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and Cypriot-American center Darral Willis (206-1996, college: Wichita St.) added 22 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Taipei TM in the defeat. Five Kings and four Taipei TM players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending champion maintains fourth place with 16-14 record. Taipei TM lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 20 games lost.
