The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th rankedChanghua 's (5-13) loss to fourth ranked Taiwan Beer (7-11) 60-70 on Saturday. The winners were led by American forward Gerard Tarin (205-1996, college: Nova SE) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds and guard Chieh-Min Lu (184-1995) supported him with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Tarin is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even a double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds by American power forward Kwame Alexander (201-1990, college: CSUSB, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Changhua . Forward Jia-Chang Wang (191-2001) added 16 points and 5 rebounds for Taiwan Beer . Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Taiwan Beer maintains fourth position with 7-11 record. Changhua lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost.
