Very important is a loss of third rankedKings (15-13) against fourth ranked Lioneers (14-11) on Sunday night. Kings were crushed by Lioneers 113-90 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kings. Lioneers made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Kings turnovers. Lioneers shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian center Marin Maric (211-1994, college: DePaul, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 16 rebounds and the former international point guard Kuo-Hao Kao (179-1998, college: SEMO) who added 25 points and 9 assists during the contest. American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (213-1990, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and Jamaican-American power forward Femi Olujobi (206-1996, college: DePaul, agency: Slash Sports) scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lioneers maintains fourth position with 14-11 record. Defending champion Kings keep the third place with 13 games lost.
