Rather expected game when 4th rankedTaiwan Beer (5-9) was defeated by second ranked Keelung BK (7-6) 93-84 on Tuesday. Keelung BK looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Wendell Lewis (204-1989, college: Alabama St.) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds. The former international guard Kai-Hsiang Hu (190-1991) chipped in 25 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Chieh-Min Lu (184-1995) who recorded 31 points and American forward Gerard Tarin (205-1996, college: Nova SE) added 13 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Taiwan Beer's coach Meng-Chu Liu let to play twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Despite that victory Keelung BK went down to third position due to points difference. Taiwan Beer lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with nine games lost.
