Important game to mention about was the one when seventh ranked Aquas (8-18) saved a 2-point victory edging 4th placed DEA (12-12) 90-88 on Sunday evening. Kaohsiung A. players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. N.Taipei CTBC was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Wen-Ju Su (187-1997) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Hunter Maldonado (201-1999, college: Wyoming, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Montenegrin forward Marko Todorovic (208-1992) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds and Montenegrin power forward Nemanja Radovic (208-1991) added 17 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for N.Taipei CTBC. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. DEA's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kaohsiung A. maintains seventh place with 8-18 record. N.Taipei CTBC at the other side dropped to the fifth position with 12 games lost. Kaohsiung A. will play against higher ranked Lioneers (#4) in Hsinchu in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. N.Taipei CTBC will play on the road against Dreamers in Changhua and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
