Sixth-rankedMars (8-16) made lots of trouble for third ranked Kings (15-12) in Taipei on Friday. Kings managed to secure only three-point victory 93-90 . However their fans expected easier game. Kings made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Taipei TM turnovers. Strangely Taipei TM outrebounded Kings 50-37 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kings looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kings made 8 blocks. It was a great evening for American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (213-1990, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 blocks. Jamaican-American power forward Femi Olujobi (206-1996, college: DePaul, agency: Slash Sports) helped adding 20 points and 11 rebounds. Four Kings players scored in double figures. At the losing side Senegalese center Youssou Ndoye (213-1991, college: St.Bonaventure) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds and Cypriot-American center Darral Willis (206-1996, college: Wichita St.) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Mars' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Taipei TM lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 16 games lost.
