Regular Season Round 9: Taipower - Chunghua T. 61-63

The most exciting game of round 9 in the WSBL ended with only two-point defeat of second-bestPower (4-5) to third ranked Chunghwa Telecom (4-5) 63-61 in the game for the second place. Chunghua T. outrebounded Taipower 46-30 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Oshlynn Brown (185, college: Rutgers) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 20 rebounds. The former international swingman Yushu Lin (168-1996) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Yi-Wen Zhang (173-1996) who recorded 19 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Rui-Zhen Song (160) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Power's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Chunghua T. moved-up to second place, which they share with Taipower.
