Regular Season Round 15: N.Taipei CTBC - Taipei TM 104-112

The game between third ranked DEA (11-10) and sixth ranked Mars (8-10) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. DEA was defeated by Mars in a tough game 104-112. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of DEA. Taipei TM made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a great evening for Kenyan-South Sudanese power forward Makur Maker (212-2000, college: Howard) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists (went 14 for 14 at the free throw line !!!). American Stanton Kidd (202-1992, college: Colorado St., agency: JCK Sports Group) helped adding 27 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Mars players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Montenegrin forward Marko Todorovic (208-1992) with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds and American Lewis Beech (203-1994, college: UNF) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. DEA's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Taipei TM maintains sixth place with 8-10 record. N.Taipei CTBC at the other side keeps the third position with ten games lost. Taipei TM are looking forward to face league's leader Taiwan Beer L. in Taoyuan in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. N.Taipei CTBC will have a break next round.
