Very significant was Ghosthawks' (#2, 5-5) victory against 3rd placed Braves (3-6) 90-85. American DeMon Brooks (202-1992, college: Davidson) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Lithuanian center Benas Griciunas (210-1994, college: EWU, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Four Ghosthawks players scored in double figures. American guard Archie Goodwin (196-1994, college: Kentucky) produced 31 points and the other American import forward Troy Gillenwater (205-1988, college: NM State) added 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ghosthawks maintains second place with 5-5 record having five points less than leader Pilots. Fubon Braves lost their third game in a row. They keep the third position with six games lost. Ghosthawks will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Fubon Braves will play against the league's leader Pilots in Taoyuan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
