Another exciting game was between third rankedTaipower and second-best Chunghwa Telecom where Taipower (3-3) beat Chunghwa Telecom (2-4) on the road 59-52 . It was a key game for the second position in the league. It was a good game for point guard Rui-Zhen Song (160) who led her team to a victory with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Naturalized American forward Pei-Xin Song (180-1998, college: UC Davis) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Oshlynn Brown (185, college: Rutgers) replied with 17 points and 9 rebounds and the former international power forward Hsiang-Ting Huang (180-1993) added 5 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Chunghwa Telecom. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Taipower moved-up to second place, which they share with Taiyuan T. Chunghua T. at the other side dropped to the bottom position with four games lost.
