The most exciting game of round 4 in the WSBL ended with only two-point defeat of much higher rankedChunghwa Telecom (1-3) to fourth ranked Taiyuan Textile (2-2) 55-53 in the game for the second place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Chunghwa Telecom. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Emily Maupin (192-1999, college: Virginia) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds. The former international forward Ching Zhuo (172-1997) contributed with 10 points for the winners. American forward Oshlynn Brown (185, college: Rutgers) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds and the former international power forward Hsiang-Ting Huang (180-1993) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Chunghua T.Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Taiyuan T. moved-up to second place. Chunghua T. at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Taipower.
