Regular Season Round 5: YKE - Fubon Braves 105-126

An exciting game was when Second ranked Braves faced 4th placed YKE. Braves (3-4) smashed YKE (0-5) 126-105. Fubon Braves made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by YKE's players. American guard Archie Goodwin (196-1994, college: Kentucky) orchestrated the victory by scoring 51 points (!!!) and 5 assists. His fellow American import forward Troy Gillenwater (205-1988, college: NM State) contributed with 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Lithuanian center Mindaugas Kupsas (216-1991, agency: BIG) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds and American forward Troy Gillenwater (205-1988, college: NM State) added 12 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for YKE. Four Fubon Braves and five YKE players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory Fubon Braves went down to third position due to points difference. YKE at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Fubon Braves will play against league's leader Pilots in Taoyuan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. YKE will play at home against the league's leader Pilots and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In a recent game, Archie Goodwin delivered an outstanding performance. He scored an impressive 51 points, along with 2 rebounds and 5 assists, ultimately leading his team to victory. Goodwin's remarkable display on the court earned him the prestigious Elite Badge from eurobasket.com. His exceptional skills and contribution were instrumental in securing the win for his team.
