The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-rankedLeopards (10-4) against fourth ranked Lioneers on Wednesday night. Lioneers were defeated by fourth ranked Lioneers (7-7) 98-82 . Lioneers forced 19 Taiwan Beer L. turnovers. Strangely Taiwan Beer L. outrebounded Lioneers 53-41 including 39 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Taiwan Beer L. 's players. American power forward Drew Pember (211-2000, college: UNC Asheville) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 12 rebounds. His fellow American import TJ Holyfield (203-1995, college: Texas Tech) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American forward Malcolm Miller (201-1993, college: Holy Cross) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Mali power forward Cheick Diallo (206-1996, college: Kansas) added 14 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Taiwan Beer L.Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lioneers moved-up to third place. Taiwan Beer L. lost third consecutive game. They still keep top position with four games lost.
