Regular Season Round 10: Lioneers - Dreamers 90-85

Very important is a loss of third rankedDreamers (6-7) against fifth ranked Lioneers (5-7) on Saturday night. Dreamers were defeated by Lioneers in a tough game 85-90 . Lioneers forced 21 Dreamers turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Lioneers brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Po-Yu Tseng (186-1996) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 assists. Latvian center Anzejs Pasecniks (216-1995, college: VEF BA Valka) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Tseng is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Lioneers' coach Wesam Al-Sous allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American power forward Aric Holman (208-1997, college: MSU) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 18 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Trey Thompkins (208-1990, college: Georgia, agency: Octagon Europe) added 18 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Dreamers. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory Lioneers went down to sixth position due to points difference. Dreamers at the other side dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Kings.
