Regular Season Round 7: Taiwan Beer L. - Kings 103-101

Fourth-ranked Kings (4-6) made lots of trouble for first ranked Leopards (8-1) in Taoyuan. Leopards managed to secure only two-point victory 103-101. However their fans expected easier game. Taiwan Beer L. made 29-of-38 charity shots (76.3 percent) during the game, while Kings only scored twelve points from the stripe. Taiwan Beer L. players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Kings were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-1991, college: UConn, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) who helped to win the game recording 31 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. American forward Malcolm Miller (201-1993, college: Holy Cross) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Palestinian power forward Sani Sakakini (204-1988) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and added 16 points and 14 assists in the effort for Kings. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Taiwan Beer L. maintains first place with 8-1 record. Defending champion Kings dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Taiwan Beer L. will play against league's second-placed Dreamers in Changhua in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kings will have a break next round.
