Very predictable result when top-ranked Leopards (6-0) defeated 6th ranked Taipei TM (3-3) 112-102 on Sunday. Taiwan Beer L. dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Taipei TM's 42. They outrebounded Taipei TM 50-36 including a 38-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Taiwan Beer L. looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-1991, college: UConn, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) who scored 29 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Mali power forward Cheick Diallo (206-1996, college: Kansas) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 22 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Canadian center Jordy Tshimanga (211-1996, college: Dayton, agency: Interperformances) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds and American Stanton Kidd (202-1992, college: Colorado St.) added 23 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Leopards have an impressive six-game winning streak. Taiwan Beer L. maintains first position with 6-0 record. Loser Taipei TM dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. Taiwan Beer L. will meet N.Taipei CTBC (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Taipei TM will play against Dreamers in Changhua and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
